Megan graduated in Charleston, South Carolina, as an expanded function dental assistant in 2008 from Trident Technical College, with additional training at MUSC. She moved to Wilmington in 2015 and has never looked back. She has worked hands-on with patients for over 14 years and joined Dr. Williams’ team as the practice care coordinator in order to care for her patients in a more specific manner with her background in education and marketing. Megan has a 17-year-old son, Keegan, who is on the spectrum, and her sweet service dog, Max, who accompanies her to work on most days. She loves the mountains, fall air and being on the water whenever possible, but her passion is traveling. “My hands are always dabbling into something,” she states.
Shannon has been working in dentistry for over 30 years now. Starting out as a dental assistant in high school, she attended Florence-Darlington Technical College upon graduating and obtained her associates degree in health science for dental hygiene. Shannon enjoys talking to her patients about the importance of good oral hygiene and does her best to help them not only improve their dental education but also have the best dental experience possible. When she is not in the office, she enjoys time with family and friends and loves traveling, boating and all the coast has to offer. A highlight of Shannon’s dental career was having the opportunity to meet and take care of Andy Griffith’s smile when he was filming “Matlock” in Wilmington for many years.
Lindsey was born and raised in Wilmington and graduated from the very first dental hygiene class of Cape Fear Community College in 2001. She has two sons, Samuel and Bennett, and enjoys spending time with them. Lindsey loves good food, wearing stretchy pants and being on the water.
Eryn was raised in Chapel Hill, NC and graduated from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington in 2000 with a degree in Communication Studies. After going back to school, she graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Dental Hygiene degree and began working for Dr. Williams in 2008. Eryn loves being around people, laughing with patients in the office and helping to educate them however she can. Outside of work she loves to play any kind of sport, paddleboard, cook, and listen to live music with friends.
Gerald was born in Washington D.C. He moved to Wilmington, NC in 1996. After high school he joined the US Army Dental Corp, where he served as a Medical Radiation Safety Officer. After six years of service he chose to continue his career in the dental field. He attended Cape Fear Community College and Miller Motte to obtain his Medical Assisting and Surgical Technician degrees. Away from work, Gerald cherishes his time with his beautiful children.
In 1996 Nataliya graduated from the University of Ukraine with a Master’s Degree in Econiomics. After moving to the United States 11 years ago, she wanted to change her career to help people understand the importance of dental hygiene and the effects to their health. She graduated from Cape Fear Community College in 2010 and has worked since then in general and pediatric dentistry. Nataliya has continued to volunteer her time at the New Hope Clinic in Boiling Springs Lake and enjoys skiing, cooking, and reading.
